TRAINING ON TURNITIN SIMILARITY CHECKER: ADDRESSING RECENT CHANGES TO THE TOOL

The Director, Library and Information Services has organized online training on Turnitin Similarity Checker for faculty staff, researchers and postgraduate students on 13th October, 2023.

Turnitin is a supervisory tool that helps post-graduate students and researchers develop original thinking skills and enhance academic integrity. The training aims to sensitize academic/teaching staff, supervisors and graduate students on how to use the Turnitin with the aim of enhancing academic integrity and scholarly honesty.

The training will also address recent changes to the system, where instructors are now first required to enroll their students before submitting their work for similarity checking.
