In this International Women’s Day, though unnoticeable to many, understanding Reproductive and Health Rights is crucial in the search for sustainable solutions to preserve the ‘Mother Earth’. The right to determine whether, and how many children to have, when and with whom to have them should be enjoyed by everyone in the society. Realized, this freedom would ensure: gender equality, reduced maternal mortalities, reduced unintended adolescence pregnancy and reduced unsafe abortion.
Join us for a discussion on recognizing women’s walk to freedom and coming of age with reproductive and health rights on:
Date: 8th March, 2022
Time: 8.30 am
Venue: Chandaria Auditorium, University of Nairobi
The event will also be streamed live on all University of Nairobi social media pages.
All are welcome
