ACADEMIC TOUR BY IKUU BOYS HIGH SCHOOL

On Friday, 7th of October 202, the Department of Plant Science and Crop Protection was privileged to receive students from Ikuu Boys High School, Meru County, who paid a visit to the Department for an academic tour.

 The students were able to learn more about the programmes offered in the Faculty of Agriculture and also were able to visit various Laboratories in the Department. The laboratories they visited are; Tissue Culture Lab, Botany Lab, Entomology Lab and Pathology Lab. Apart from learning a lot in these labs, they also visited the farm where they were shown the greenhouses and type of crops and flowers grown.
