The department of Plant Science and Crop Protection coffered various students with degrees in their respective programs in the 68th UoN Graduation Ceremony, which was held today on 16th December 2022 . Download graduation booklet.
Horticulture Masters Students from the Department of Plant Science and Crop Protection were taken for an academic tour to Florensis in Naivasha. The farm has its headquarters in Holland and it deals with cut flowers which are exported to the international market. The flowers are first bred in Holland and then multiplied in Kenya before they are exported. The students learned how to manage pests and diseases. The company employs IPM practices whereby hygiene is the key practice and use of biocontrols purchased at Dudutech.

The signing off ceremony for the Agricultural Technology and Innovation Center (ATIC) Architectural Drawings. This paves way for the start of construction works at Upper Kabete Campus by industry partners led by Elgon Kenya. Congratulations to the team led by Prof Kimenju
