Nairobi innovation week came to a close on Friday April 28th 2022 with students, staff, innovators and the entire university fraternity sharing their delight in the three days.

The event themed was “Innovation for transformation and impact in society”

This year's Nairobi Innovation Week 2022 will showcase innovations from the students, faculty, start-ups to policymakers, funders, industry, innovation enablers, non-governmental organizations, research institutions, and the general public.

Research team led by Dr. Onesmus Kitonyo (Principal Investigator) has won the inaugural African Plant Nutrition Research Fund (APNRF) grant which is funded by the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI).

The Food Systems Research Network for Africa (FSNET-Africa) research symposium was held between 29th March to 1st April 2022 at the Future Africa Campus of the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
