New Research Project Funded by the African Plant Nutrition Institute
Research team led by Dr. Onesmus Kitonyo (Principal Investigator) has won the inaugural African Plant Nutrition Research Fund (APNRF) grant which is funded by the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI). 

Project title: “Fine-Tuning Climate-Smart Nitrogen Management Practices in Maize-Based Crop Systems of Eastern Kenya”.

Total sum of the grant: US$149,500, and the project is scheduled to run for three years.

University of Nairobi Team Participates at FSNET-Africa Research Symposium

The Food Systems Research Network for Africa (FSNET-Africa) research symposium was held between 29th March to 1st April 2022 at the Future Africa Campus of the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
